Here are the rules:
1. Answer questions from your blog list of friends and family.
2. If you don't have 18 names on your list you can pick a name for the last question.
3. Tag 5 people.
When did you meet the first person on your list?
Aimee R. - We're in the LDS Mofia - an private board of about 140+ women (MOF stands for "my online friends" and I can't remember who started it, but we call ourselves the 'Mofia,').
What do you like about the 3rd person on your list?
Andrea - she is from Australia and I love her generous personality, she is also a talented photographer. We once exchanged Tim Tams (a yummy Aussie treat) for her favorite American treat - Turtle Chex Mix.
What do you do you like best about the 5th and 6th person on your list?
Debie and Eric - Debie is sweet, caring and a wonderful mom. It seems like I learn something each time I visit her blog. And I have no idea who Eric is. My brother, Jacob, emailed a link to one of the funniest (and totally random) blogs I've seen.
How long have you known the 9th person on your list?
Jan - Since about September of 2007 when we moved to Pasco.
What impresses you about the 11th and 12th person on your list?
Jenn and Jessica are both in the Mofia, they are fun and they bring a great perspective to the board. I've learned something from both and I know there are times when their opinion has influenced a decision I made.
What is a memory with the 16th person on your list?
Matt - we practically grew up together and spent a lot of time with the Johnson's house. I think he went along when we TP'd some houses.
Say something nice about the 18th person on your list?
Misty is the type of photographer I aspire to be like. She is super talented and genuine.
Now I have to tag 5 people.

House Update
They broke ground last week and have laid the foundation. Here is what our house looks like now....

It will be a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with 2327 square feet on a 10,000+ sq ft lot. Here is the floor plan....

Larry asked me what part of the house that I was most excited about and my answer is the garden tub in the master bathroom and of course, my photo studio. A whole bedroom is being designed for that purpose, we're adding bay windows and possibly more lights.

Everyone needs a little time away
While Larry was giving his final presentation for his class in Bellevue, I wandered around. Some friends recommended the Botanical Gardens. It was refreshing and beautiful. I was out hiking in the rain with my camera under my coat and waiting for a break to take photos, but it was worth it for me. I was totally in my element.

Jared was fascinated when I told him I had finally found the leprechaun's house.

We also went to downtown Seattle to visit the Science Museum and they had a huge room full of butterflies. Some of them were a bit shy, but it was amazing when they opened up.

The most exciting part of Larry's weekend is that he officially has his MBA. He still has two specialty courses to complete and will be finished around the first week of July. I am so proud of him! The best part about it is that it was free. His service in the Air Force was invaluable. He is hoping to go from Safety Engineer to HR Manager, but he expects that he will have some certifications to complete before that happens.

What would your epitaph say?
I got my epitaph here.

Somehow, that epitaph is fitting. Here was my last girls day out with my sister.....

My dad took us the the shooting range. It has been awhile since I did some target practice. I didn't do bad either, but then again.... I had a scope on the gun. Seriously, I need to get out and do that more often. It's a great way to let go of some stress.

Happily ever after
I did a wedding today with my friend, LeeAnn. She invited me to tag along, it was a lot of fun and this was an easy couple to work with. Here's the fun photo of the batch, I have more on my photo blog.

Spring Break
This week the kids in this area are on spring break. I am doing my best to keep Jared busy so we went to the park one day. The boys had fun and I enjoyed taking photos of them being silly.

On a very sad note, Rudy, the Angel I photographed has passed away. His family put together a beautiful tribute to him on youtube with music and some of my photos. Grab a tissue!
I knew that day would eventually come. I was praying for a miracle and I feel that my prayers were answered. How many parents get to spend 8 days with their baby after hearing a doctor tell them he wouldn't survive the night? That is a miracle.

Letter to Grandma
Jared wrote a letter to his grandma today and put it in the mailbox with a stamp. I took it out before the postal worker showed up to take it. It's very simple and straight to the point.....

In case you need a translation: From Jared, To Grandma..... "Please come back"
We asked Jared why he wanted his grandma back and he said, "I want to do my nickel collection and Grandma is the only one who will let me."

Crazy monkeys!
David is in preschool with 5 other kids around his age. A few other moms and I decided to start it and we all take turns teaching the kids. This week was my week and we did class pictures yesterday. Here are the silly ones....

On another note.... I called the hospital on Wednesday to see how Rudy (the Angel I photographed) was doing. He is still alive at 1 week old. What a fighter he is! He wasn't suppose to make it through the night so this is a miracle. They are saying it's only a matter of time. Either way, it's a blessing that he gets to spend more time with his family.

Our old house closed on Wednesday, officially. We're excited! We put in the order to build our new house last night, it is going to be fun customizing everything. We're excited about the possibilities, we'll update with pictures as the house is being built. So far, the house looks like this......
In other news, I met and photographed my first Angel earlier in the week. If you'd like to read more about this, please visit my photo blog. It was an experience I will never forget.

Larry's new toy
Larry says he's always wanted to be a biker. Now all he needs is a leather jacket :)
This is Larry's chosen method of getting into shape so I'm excited that he loves his new bike. His goal is to ride to work and back, this will be much easier to accomplish when we move closer to work. Yes, we're building a house, yay! Our house on the other side of the state closes on Wednesday (keeping our fingers crossed that everything is smooth sailing) and we'll put in the order to build this week. We've got the land reserved, it's in a great location with a lovely view of a nearby mountain.
